Seeing a bright red sweet potato makes many people’s mouths water. However, the red color of that red potato can also be artificial. How do you know?
In this case, take some water in a bowl, soak a cotton ball in it and rub the cotton ball on the sweet potato. If the red color comes out, the screen is leaking. If not, it is a pure potato.
Soak a cotton ball or cloth in liquid paraffin. Now rub it on the green skin of the vegetable. If the color comes out after rubbing, it is adulterated. If the color does not come out, it is not adulterated, it is a pure vegetable.
