Int.Desk: Australia has seen for the first time one of the most dangerous fungi in the world. This red fungus has previously been found only in Japan and Korea.
If one plays it, any part of the body can become useless. May cause severe brain damage. Not only that, but a BBC report says that touching them can cause terrible skin diseases.
Matt Barrett, a physician, says: “Researchers have so far found about 100 poisonous mushrooms, the only ones that can spread the poison through the skin!”
The report was photographed by a local photographer from the town of Cairns. Barrett says the fungus is also gaining ground in China, Thailand and Papua New Guinea.
